Zydeco Style Great Zydeco and Cajun dance tuition from a family team. Phil is a Louisiana experienced teacher who learned Zydeco and Cajun dancing first hand in the clubs of Louisiana. Anna is his daughter whose natural dance ability perfectly qualifies her to be his assistant. Their simple yet effective teaching technique enables the basics to be picked up in about ten minutes. After that they teach lots of fun things you can do with the dance, and the world's your oyster!. Also part of the team are experienced dance teachers Mary Elms and Robbie Talley.

Our artists are experienced professionals, including many years of playing weddings, parties, corporate functions, festivals, concerts, pubs and clubs. We are all friendly and approachable and want you to be satisfied with our service.

We will work with you to make your event a success, we are flexible and sensitive to the flow of your event

Either band is available to play anywhere in the UK , Europe and Worldwide

We are covered for Public Liability insurance through the Musicians' Union

Cajun and Zydeco dancing do not use a caller so we can also - uniquely - offer a short lesson in Cajun and Zydeco dance. It's a perfect complement to the music, which guests find really enjoyable and helps the dancing go with a swing.

North Island

We can now offer a great barndance/ceilidh/contra band. North Island play a spicy stew of English, Irish, Scottish with French, Breton, French Canadian, Appalachian, Cajun, Tex Mex influences

Lineup is Jim Beard (fiddle), Phil Underwood (melodeon, concertina, guitar), Bill Richardson (fiddle, guitar),

and we can add from a range of experienced callers as appropriate for the occasion.
